“Whether it’s lending a hand at a mobile food pantry, donating blood, or simply holding the door, volunteering in the community and helping others has always been my passion. I am Michael Lopez from La Cueva High School. My involvement in Key Club, Boy Scouts, and my church’s youth ministry has helped me develop a community oriented mindset. Through volunteering with these programs my understanding of what I could do for the community has broadened. I have realized that I can create and lead projects to bring about the positive change I want to see in my school and community.”
